Dario Fisher

Dario Fisher grew up on the Gower coast of Wales, a stretch of land of breath-taking beauty. He discovered his love of nature and the desire to protect it early on. The illustrator thus often focuses on endangered species in his works, where he proves himself to be a precise observer and virtuoso draughtsman: his whale series in the style of Japanese woodcuts exudes pinpoint precision. In his pictorial language, he harmoniously emphasises the fragility of flora and fauna through reduced colours – and pays his respects to them with impressive Ritzenhoff decors.
