Piero Lissoni
Architect and designer from Milan
In 1986, the Italian architect and designer founded his own studio in Milan, “Lissoni Associati”, where everything revolves around architecture as well as interior and product design. Ten years later, “Graph.x” was added, a studio specialized in branding, web design, and photography. “Lissoni Architettura” was established in 2013 and is involved with numerous international architectural committees. It was followed by “Lissoni Inc.” in New York, where exceptional interior designs for the American, Canadian and the Central and South American market are created. Today, the corporate group comprises an international team of 70 staff members covering the areas of architecture and branding, as well as graphic, interior, and product design. Piero Lissoni is art director for brands like Alpi, Boffi, De Padova, and Lema; he designs products for companies like Alessi, Fritz Hansen, and Knoll International. The Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam is among his works, as is the chair “Piuma”. He has been honoured for his work with numerous awards, including the Compasso d’Oro, the Red Dot Award, the Elle Decor International Design Award, the induction into the New York Hall of Fame of Interior Design, and in 2006, he was Designer of the Year at the World Superyachts Award.
